  The ambience is what you want, but this place is going down hill. The owner seems to not care about business. I tried to plan a Happy Hour here and after calling days in a row with no response, finally went in to make sure they were still open, and to notify them that a group would be arriving for Happy Hour that afternoon. The owner said that was fine and got a bartender in, but she barely knew the basics. Another colleague did the same thing trying to host a happy hour here last week. When they arrived at 4:30, the doors were closed, until they finally got ahold of the owner on his phone. He came down and opened up and again got the same less-than-satisfactory bartender. This place turned me off years ago with terrible service, and I only went back this year for Happy Hour twice, and am convinced that things are not improving. For one, your bartender should know what a twist is (Hint: It's not both a lemon and lime rind....which is what she provided to my then boss, who was already irritated with his drink, as the glass was covered with vodka on the outside, too. So there are examples from service, to bar, to ownership, of why this place might disappoint you.
